Todd Puerto Rican History I've been reading "Operation Bootstrap: Sucess or Failure". If I had to squish the whole thing into just one or two words, the words I'd pick would "Invasion". It's mostly about what happened in P.R when the U.S discovered P.R and took over. If you read nothing else of this text, read this, and you'll get the gist of it.
What the author wants me to know is what happenes and how it started. This article makes explicit the fact that the U.S came and took P.R over and how they built their factories there.
What the author wants me to think that it's unfair to take over another country and kick other people off when they inhabited the land first.This is part of what is implicit in this text. The idea that Puerto Rico was treated unfairly and the idea that America invaded P.R are implied but not stated outright in the text. I say this because the author is using context clues for you to figure it out.
What the author wants me to feel is depression because it's wrong to take over another country. The subtext here is the details and facts that author gives you.
One of the literary elements the author uses is foreshadowing because he wants to try to give hints to see if the reader can guess what the article will be about.
Video games are something I care about.

Hey my name is Todd. I am 15 years old. I live in Manhattan . I am into drawing, women, games, basketball and sneakers. I think East Side Community High School is a great school because I go out to lunch and I don't stay in one class. I am a Capricorn; I am a horse for Chinese New Year. That is what I am. I'm single. I think NY is a wonderful place in the downtown area and the L E S area. The music I listen to is rap music. I think Eve looks good as hell. She is sexy and fine. My favorite artist is Outkast and Eve. My birthday is in January. That is when I was born.

My favorite shows are The Parkers and South Park. These shows are funny to watch and hilarious. I like a lot of black comedies since I don’t have cable. During my life I traveled to South Carolina for the annual “Cook “family reunion. I saw my grandmother, my other aunt, and my great uncle. I left and came back to the New York state the third day. I like to be around people who give me respect and 100% of it. I always do things for people most of the time and I wonder, “What about me. “ In school people think they are big and bad. They isn’t nothing but busta punks, ya heard.?!!!!! You want to mess with someone pick on someone your own size. People try to get at me any other way. Hairline, cloths and my voice.
