FANDOM seemed easy. It got complicated. It has great possibilities. It has too many variables. It needs to be worked on often enough to remember the routine steps, so that the once-in-a-while functions would stop swimming beyond the ropes where the sharks lurk.

I can't conceive of having the sort of setup where I could exploit the medium enough to make it worth the learning curve for me and for students. At the moment, I'm looking simply at a place where teachers I work with can ruminate and pose questions and hear each other think and react to whatever ruminations and ponderings and sputterings they wish. It feels a little more organic than nicenet, a little less formal to dive into, though intimidatingly more complicated to get rolling.
