What is this?Edit

There are Africans gathered in Slave Market, Zanzibar,1877. There are children either sitting or kneeling on the floor except for one child who is standing. There are three men. Only two of the men have weapons. One man has a knife and a shield and the other man has a sword. The oldest man is patting the boy on the head.

What do we know about it?Edit

This is an important image for understanding triangular trade because this is a picture of a slave getting punished in the late.
