What is this?Edit

This picture shows a white man licking an African on the tip of his chin. This was to show if it was salty. If it was that meant he was stress. Other colored people who do not have anything on their than a rag around their waste covering their private parts are looking and pointing at them. The man that is being licked is on his knees facing. The two men are face to face. The white man is wearing a hat, a long jacket and pants that look like the pants to a baseball uniform. The white man also is wearing a belt that has a sword that is attached to it. The sword is as long as his leg. One of the pointing African men is wearing a bell around his wrist. Everybody is on Lang. All the colored men other than the bell man and the man who is getting licked are leaning next to a tree. There are a total of 7 African men. 3 of the men that are leaning on the tree are standing up. Two of them are sitting down. There is also a picture right on the bottom, attached to this one. This, picture shows 10 African people 4 of them are on land and have their hands over there face making them look like they are crying. One of those 4 people is kneeling down. The rest of the people (6 people) are on a canoe in the water. There is also a ship in the water. It is very big. These colored people are also just wearing rags that cover their private parts.

What do we know about it?Edit

This picture represents slavery and the triangular trade. It shows at the top a white man looking like he's threatening a slave. In thie picture if you look a slave to your left with his hand pointing out. You can see he has some type of sack or small carrier attached to his arm because he has to collect gold. If the slaves don’t get a certain amount of gold in a certain period of time then they would cut the salves hands off.

In "History in Puerto Rico" a wikipedia article it says that Puerto Ricao was the last stop in the Greater Antilles before the long voyage to Europe for Spanish ships laden with gold.
