Introduction to City Escapes, by Desiree Borrero, Art Teacher

Over 160 students, teachers, family members and friends visited the ESCHS Student Art Gallery on Thursday, January 20, 2005 to see the paintings and drawings that are reproduced here. (See the invitation to this show.)

City Escapes allows the viewers to see the city through new eyes. The students worked on cityscape paintings for 2 1/2 months. Although many struggled through this intense project the results are incredible. The enthusiasm that was felt in the room touched the students and their guests. The show will be on display until mid April. Please take the time to stop by and support the arts and our students.
